A próxima marca a investir no mercado das 250/300 deve ser a britânica Triumph. Conhecida mundialmente por seus famosos propulsores tricilíndricos, a marca estaria investindo em uma nova motocicleta: a Street 300. Utilizando a base visual de suas naked de maior cilindrada, as Speed e Street Triple, segundo fontes de bastidores internacionais, a Triumph já está com o projeto em andamento e planeja fabricar este novo modelo na Tailândia.<br /><br />Com certeza, esta nova máquina britânica seria um ótimo concorrente para Honda CB 300R e Yamaha Fazer 250. Isso, sem falar na KTM 200 Duke, que a marca austríaca deve montar no Brasil até o final do ano. <a href="http://motociclismo.terra.com.br/index.asp?codc=1110">E, como já publicamos, existe a possibilidade de a KTM também produzir uma 350 Duke.</a> Com as informações da Street 300 em mãos, nossa equipe criou esta ilustração como hipótese do possível modelo.<br /><br />O motor seria um monocilíndrico com refrigeração líquida de 267 cm³ ou 350 cm³, sua montagem poderia ser realizada em Manaus, por CKD (Complete Knock Down), e lançada em 2012. Contudo, além do novo modelo, a Triumph deve passar por mudanças no Brasil. Fontes seguras afirmam que a operação deverá trocar de mãos em nosso país. Consultamos a matriz na Inglaterra, mas a resposta foi que ainda não podem dizer nada até o momento. Segundo fontes de mercado, a Dafra seria o novo parceiro oficial dos ingleses. <br /><br />A Dafra, porém, disse estar em negociações com algumas marcas e não podia informar nada a respeito. O Grupo Izzo não respondeu nosso questionamento sobre o assunto. Por enquanto, nos resta aguardar por esclarecimentos e apreciar esta ilustração de uma possível e bem-vinda Triumph Street 300.
